1. Information We Collect
We may collect personal data such as your name, email address, and other details you provide when you sign up, contact us, or use our services.
If you take part in our research survey, we also collect the answers you give us: your age range, how you describe your gender, the country you live in, roughly what you spend on health and wellness, whether you take supplements, any health goal you choose to write down, and the name, email address and phone number you give us so we can arrange an interview.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to fulfil our contractual obligations, to communicate with you about updates and offers where you have consented, and to improve our products and services based on our legitimate interest in optimising what we offer.
Survey answers are used to understand how people approach health and to decide who to invite to a research interview. We do not use them to advertise to you, and joining our beta waitlist is a separate, optional step you have to tick for yourself.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, the necessity of performing a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests where these are not overridden by your rights.
Some survey answers, such as whether you take supplements or what health goal you are working towards, may count as data concerning health. We process those only with your explicit consent, given when you submit the survey. Every one of those questions is optional to answer truthfully and you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us.
4. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your personal information and protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to meet legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Survey answers are kept for the duration of the research they were collected for, and the contact details attached to them are deleted once we have finished arranging interviews. Waitlist email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers who run parts of this service for us, where the law requires it, or with your explicit consent. Those providers process the data on our instructions:
Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) stores the email addresses on our beta waitlist and sends the emails you have agreed to receive. This applies whether you join from the signup form or tick the waitlist box at the end of the survey.
Google Forms (Google Ireland Limited) receives and stores your survey answers. The survey is shown in our own design on this site, but your answers are submitted to Google Forms and held there.
Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) hosts and serves this website.
7. International Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Brevo processes data within the EU. Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States; those transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month.
9. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay, and if the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will also notify you directly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this website, and where appropriate, notified to you by email.
11. Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not store anything in your browser to profile you. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, sets one strictly necessary cookie (cf_clearance) to keep the site secure and available.
Submitting the survey sends your answers to Google, and joining the waitlist sends your address to Brevo. Those companies may set cookies of their own at that point, under their own policies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
